Douglas Products

Founded in 1916 by George Douglas, Douglas Products has enjoyed a rich history of bringing innovative, specialized chemicals and products to a number of industries. Initially, the company began as a manufacturer and distributor of grain sanitation products and equipment, and janitorial chemicals. Through the years, Douglas Products has continued to develop and improve its product line, and today is a leading formulator and packager for a wide variety of specialized products including commercial antifreeze agents, holding tank additives, and unsurpassed chemicals to control root intrusion and grease build-up in municipal and residential sanitary sewer systems. Douglas also manufactures an entire range of agricultural stored grain protectants, and empty bin and warehouse fumigants for complete pest control that includes the necessary application and safety equipment.

Douglas has a thriving Special Projects Division as well, where other company’s formulations for specialty liquid and dry chemical products are blended and packaged to precise specifications. The projects range in scope from hundreds of gallons for “start ups” to hundreds of thousands of gallons for “multi-nationals.”
