A unique industrial surfactant is developed and several formulas are patented for use in a number of industrial applications. The various derivatives of the same basic chemistry require different labeling, packaging and distribution channels. Demand for the products develops at different rates requiring some formulas to be blended in 500 gallon batches and packaged in 8 oz, 1 gallon and 2 ½ gallon bottles, while others are in large batch sizes and packaged in drums and totes. Douglas Products’ ability to move efficiently between small and large batch and package sizes, enables them to cost effectively ensure a successful program and product launch.
